Structured thermal and RGB datasets for asset owners who need reliable, repeatable data they can actually use.
Chief Pilot / RPAS Pilot - Co-Founder
CASA RePL Licensed - CAA CPL Qualified - ITC Level 1 Thermographer - 25+ Years Aviation - 20+ Years Industry
Nick is a CASA-licensed drone pilot and CAA commercial pilot with 25 years of aviation experience, 20 years in heavy industry, and a background in fire and emergency services. He built and ran the commercial drone program at one of Australia's largest coal mining operations - authoring the training manual that was subsequently adopted across the business and passed BARS Foundation compliance review.
Before moving into operations management, Nick spent years on the tools as a plant operator and maintainer, which means he understands the assets he is flying over from the inside out. That industrial background shapes everything about how SkySpectra approaches a site - from pre-flight risk assessment through to how findings are documented and handed over to maintenance teams.
He holds a CAA Commercial Pilot Licence, CASA RePL covering sub-25kg multi-rotor and fixed wing platforms, and ITC Level 1 thermographer certification. He is the licensed pilot on every job SkySpectra flies.
Co-Founder
Business Development, Operations, and Client Delivery
Jenya co-founded SkySpectra and brings a background in business operations and structured project delivery to the business. Before SkySpectra, she spent years in operational and project roles at a Brisbane-based professional services firm - coordinating delivery, managing client programs, and keeping complex projects on track under commercial pressure.
At SkySpectra, Jenya runs everything that sits outside the cockpit - scheduling, quoting, reporting, and the infrastructure that makes Nick's flying days productive rather than chaotic. Every quote is built around understanding what the client actually needs from the data. Every program is scheduled, tracked, and delivered against agreed timelines.
Every industry, one standard
Utility-scale solar, a commercial rooftop array, or a single roof - captured to the same standard and read by the same certified thermographer. Tell us what you're working with and we'll come back to you with what the data shows, not a generic quote.
We don't quote until we understand the site. Use the chat in the corner, or see what's included below.

SkySpectra provides aerial thermal and RGB data capture services, including thermographic assessment of thermal imagery by an ITC Level 1 Certified Thermographer. This assessment identifies and classifies thermal anomalies but is not a structural, electrical, or engineering assessment, and does not constitute certification of any asset. Any decision regarding remediation, repair, or compliance must be made by an appropriately qualified professional engaged by the client.
